The production gear I use is completely dependent on the situation, but the list below outlines what I use most often, prefer and in most cases and consider to be my gear.

Panasonic Lumix LX5
a little point and shoot beast, offering full manual video control, a fast 24mm Leica lens and silky smooth 720p video.

Nikon D7000
my weapon of choice for shooting DSLR
video. Nikon has an excellent range of lenses, including vintage lenses.

Panasonic AG-HMC150
Panasonic camcorder sensors produce beautiful colour and this little dude does just that with a Leica lens.

Canon XH-A1s
an excellent 3CCD prosumer HDV video camera offering delicious optics &
professional capabilities.

SOUND
Sennheiser EW112-p G3 Lavalier Mics
I use these Sennheiser lav mics whenever I need realistic sounding, crystal clear audio.

Sennheiser MKE 400 - On Camera Mic
this little shotgun mic lives on my DSLR for shooting video and is surprisingly good, considering how small it is. This is my preferred mic over Rode mics.

Lowel Rifa-Lite 1000 Watts
softbox lighting is a must for lighting skin and lowel makes the best.

this Manfrotto monopod packs a fluid head and fold out feet for greater
stability in tight spaces.
Glidecam HD4000 Stabilizer
I’ve used other stabilizers, but the Glidecam HD2000 and 4000 are my steadicams of choice.

Delkin Fat Gecko an extremely affordable car and window mount that sticks and locks into place. an awesome tool.
ACCESSORIES
Black Rapid Camera Strap
the best, most comfortable and secure camera strap I’ve ever used.

Zacuto Z-Finder Pro
an optical viewfinder for DSLRs: a must-have in bright light situations for framing and focusing.
Zacuto EVF Pro
a made an entire video series on EVFs and for good reason: I think everyone who shoots with a DSLR should use one.

Zacuto Striker
this is the super light, sturdy, well constructed run and gun stabilizer I use for hand-held work.
